Never again never no more touch my head which feels rather sore.
My stomach is churning, going up and down dare not move quickly for fear i'll break down.
Why did I do it? Not quite sure, too much drinking next time have fewer.
Said it before still I resign, feeling much better, Hey! party time.

Al
Reads to me like 'Blues for the ole lush'. Of course, you missed out the bits about the toilet asking you to 'talk to me', the sudden unavailability of painkillers, and that lovely eau de doner (kebab).
Aah, reminisces...

Hi Alice, you sum it up so well - never again, until the next time! I was taken to a tequilla tasting a few months ago by a disolute friend who makes whisky. The tequilla guru, Jose from San Francisco, insisted that the expensive 100% agave stuff didn't give you a hangover. I had the worst hangover of my entire life.
Moral of that story: never trust a man who makes a mean Margarita!
Adele.

dissolute - useful word, must learn how to spell it!

Ha...just having this exact conversation to a friend who is suffering from too much shampoo. She reckons that's it but mwhahaha - yes, until the pain becomes a distant memory and the party beckons. I never used to get hangovers, but age is changing that whole tune.
Yip - one that most of us can relate to (sadly).

As one who used to indulge frequently, (or should that be over indulge?) I'm right there with you here Alice!
But now I'm almost sober almost all of the time :-(
And that statement is almost true!
Nice one!
till the next time...

Alice,
I loved the rhyming of 'sure' and 'fewer'...genius. The whole theme is true, from what I hear. Never been drunk personally and can't see why someone would wallow in their own piss and vomit again, even if they forgot. Hell, if I was their friend, I'd remind 'em. Good images. Works like pregnancy, I guess. Hate it every time, but forget after a couple years and wanna go again. Whatever floats someone's boat.
