Kenny, just found this scene- you've really got a nice way with characters and their sometimes uncomfortable friendships and semi-betrayals. I did guess from the start almost that he was trying to feel out how big a deal it would be if he revealed his feelings for the ex-girlfriend- surely the other guy would have sussed where he was going with this? or is that your intention, that they're both feeling their way a bit? I'd almost like to see the next scene further on from this, now, where he starts to realise what's happening. I liked the way the moral dilemma was conveyed by talking about the other guy who's seeing the other ex.

Hi Anna

Thanks for reading and commenting on the piece. Guys talking about their relationship with women is always a bit of a muddled terrain and we'd rather talk about it indirecty which I tried to do in the piece.
cheers

I think it captures the sort of informal mood rather well that exists when two friends engage in idle chat (even though one has an motive. I found it interesting.

Hi cheekygrin

Thanks for reading and commenting on the piece. The piece was orginally written as an exercise for a writing for performance class

Cheers
