The original man is back -
dressed in black,
ready to tie up
loose ends,
affairs unattended.
From Beirut to Zurich,
pitted against judge & jury
he will make his move
in real-time, soon.
No knocks will fell him,
nor will they wound him.
He is back -
full stop.
Beware all you maidens.
Truly a man on a mission,
he will drive hard,
all the way through,
straight on,
to the other side.
Still as a lover,
there will be no other.
Trick him if you don't care,
betray him if you dare.
Better beware.
He has returned.

Alice, this seems very different for you, I might not have guessed. A man of mystery - I thought of the film Men in Black then I thought And all because the lady loved Milk Tray....!but I guess you have a very definite person in mind here, and i'd love to know who he is!

Alice, I too thought immediately thought of 'Men in Black'; I don't know why because I haven't even seen the film!! I am fascinated to know who he is. Is he real?

Oh wow, Alice...this guy really does sound scrumdiddlyumpcious! I love the colour black so that did it for me However, I thought of the Grim Reaper - who in my own very morbid way - I find extremely sexy. What did Aragorn say - I do not fear death! I am Fearless? perhaps? :D

Hi Alice,
I loved this too.
'The original man is back ' - I loved this line, full of meaning. For me the word 'original' summed up the whole poem.
He is man and he is fearless.
