Angela, a dynamic conflagration of contradictory images indeed! - Perhaps an account of his conception? Or of something else fertilised... imagination perhaps?
A fizzling piece and a journey through the solar system - did you leave any planets out? Wondered if in the light of this thought you might capitalise the 'E' of 'earthly' too? Also read 'Plutonic' as 'Platonic' first - which I found interesting.
Just a few thoughts, Nikki :-)

Oops, an Earthly error! Thanx Nikki! Did not leave any planets out. Each planets special points were used as metaphors for the process of birth to conception. Hey presto, a spacechild! Angela

Angela
A lyric that conjures up pearly whites, cocoon reds with soothing rhythm of womb; a succinct crystalisation of the journey from conception to birth. I love the last line. Many thanks for the dedication.

Hi Angela, the title caught my curiosity, so I had to read this. This is really good stuff. How can 38 words be so beautiful, powerful, meaningful and yet, at the same time, create a dynamic atmosphere? But you've done it.
As everybody gets their own reactions to a piece of art, my reactions and feelings were that this poem is an erotic, sexy, sci-fi poem with strong sexual tones of liquid nature.
It was great to read, and much more powerful than you think.
Can't wait to read more,
Ste

Thanx Ste, never thought it may be perceived as science fiction. You are right of course, glad you enjoyed it. Angela
