Twas a Monday morning
all was quiet,i claim.
Only the birds singing,
that is just the same.

Why this forboding
what am i to do,
can i shout out for help
what shall i?not a clue.

What do i want from life?
can anyone tell me,
just a shadow of what might have been,
thats not life,its true.

Alice - was it just that Monday morning feeling?? I don't think so! We all have phases when we wonder where on earth we are going and what we want/need. Somtimes you just can't explain it.

It's been one of those weeks. Even a friend wondered what is wrong.
Funny how people on here know my mood and pick up on it.

Might throw my paintings out and just stick to poetry.
just joking.
You cheered me up.
Thanks joanxx

Alice - very interesting.......... I'm not 'joanie' really - that's just my anonimity. I am 'Joan'. Funny you should instinctively call me that!

Know that feeling. Sometimes wish I could have my whole life mapped out for me, so I know what's coming up and where I'm going.
Nice one.
Grazie

Hi Alice,
I liked this. You've captured how I feel almost every day. I agree, poets minds are the same - most poets, anyway. I'd say most writers too.

Best wishes,
Mooncat
