Did you spoil me for other men? Did you? Should i cry for you always, should I?
So long ago my love should I wait? Feeling this way am I allowed.
To follow my heart, find another, love again. Can I my love?
Still i cry for you, which lover could take your place, will be no other only you.

Alice, Enjoyed this... Made me think of a favourite passage in the book - 'Like Water for Hot Chocolate' by Laura Esquivel. In it she writes of each of us having a box of matches inside us... Love lights them... Seems that perhaps sometimes a Love comes along that burns them all out - all at once (?) And what then... (?) This is the idea that she presents... Write on, Miffle

Oh, Alice, this is sad. Makes me want to give you a big cuddle, pat your head and say, 'there, there.' More seriously, it's a good poem - says a lot about the human condition in just a few short words.

MIFFLE.
Thank you, much appreciated.
Only people that know the meaning of love will know what i am talking about.
To love and be loved in the flesh.
Fantasy love is nothing at all.
xx Alice

Clear and beautiful expression of depth of true love and pain of loss.
Another strong piece Stan.
