Ballad of Kleenex King

Summary: My ex used to bully me terribly, he especially complained if I didn't take advantage of the many BOGOF deals when shopping. Funny, just as I left him, he had taken advantage of such an offer on Kleenex! Perfect timing!

Now I salute you 'The Kleenex King'
For all that I gave you -
Didn't count for a thing.

Just aswell you are counting -
The savings, the cost,
That superstore offer sure has paid off.

So, at night as you wonder -
what happened to your 'Fox'
Reach your hand into the notorius black box!

A strident, straight-as-a-bat piece. Something that needed to be said. An oft repeated message with a contemporary sound that many will relate to.

Glad you're not down, as I am not sure you would like it if I offered you a kleenex tissue!

Good poem, Ling Ling. Bet you enjoyed writing this one!

As has been said before, a poem many people will be able to relate to.

A possible typo (?)- you missed the space in 'as well'.
