like a mad hatters tea party
all gone to pot
everyone scatty
need to be shot.

Running around like a grey arse fly
saying "i'm late"
telling the time
white rabbit does this have to rhyme?

Cheshire cat grins
dormouse asleep
all is quiet
not even a peep.

Queen just screams
"chop off their heads,"
words all in reems
everything said.

Alice, reminds me of what a children's tea party has the potential to become (or adults for that matter!). I've always been fond of the queen so glad to see her making a cameo here! Loved 'words in reems' 'white rabbit does this have to rhyme?' - a mad-hatty poem. nikki ;-)

<Added>

also made me think of all the rabbits out there (White and of Pooh Bear fame) racing around - seemed a hint to them, 'Slow Down' !

Did someone mention Mary Jane?!

I wish people would slow down, take the time to look around.
Well said, Alice in wonderland.

Alice,

Good rhythm in this one. The pace is quick. I liked that aspect. I enjoyed the lines 'everyone scatty / need to be shot' & 'Queen just screams / "chop off thier heads."' The rhyming works throughout, doesn't feel forced.

One small fix: 'thier' - spelling.
