David, this is really good and would certainly make a PP reading. One of your best. Maybe the ending disappoints beause I thought the little guy was going to turn out to be the ripper..On the other hand if that's expected, better not do it.
There's just a touch of Pinter but I actually prefer this kind of thing because the language is authentic whereas Pinter is a bit of a poseur. Are we supposed to conclude that Tam is gay? After all his bragging he collapses very easily... so are you saying Tim looks after Tam despite their ritual of bragging and whimpering?
Great stuff. You'll need two strong actors who will really go for it. I know Richard would manage Tam pretty well but you may have other ideas. (Phil would be a good Tim) Regards,PV
