A golden tear convulsed outward,
clutching an image of you,
the miscarried messenger,
of a love so foetally flawed.
A private tear.

Many tears of crimson cascaded,
aborted capsules of time, words.
Pleasured pain, painful pleasure,
spurting speeding bleeding hoops.
Tears of anger.

An opaque tear hung lifeless,
an envelope of emptiness.
Purged of the past,
fitted for the future.
A tear of relief.

One last tear of crystal ran,
furrowing a vision of me.
A small spherical freedom fighter
joyfully propelled.
A universal tear.

Achingly beautiful. Thanks for writing a lyric that resonated so strongly with me today.

Oh, and welcome to WW

I particularly like the strong imagery of the first stanza

A concise piece that manages to convey so much. Well done.
Perhaps an owner edit could get rid of the yards of blank space between the poem and the comments?
