Arran Natured

This mint animal
topped & tailed
in green & blue,
is put over river
and under sky
stabbed in earth,
bent worshiping
the smile of wet
marble, the empty
mastered peace
of natures place
of meditation.

The fresh pulp
of grass curls
through the air,
the bright sun
claps to see
the tree fall,
to see such
hand free
woods work,
to see such
human nature.

John i loved this as i see this with an artists eye rather than the poet.See such beauty only to be felled and lost. Thank you for this. xx Alice

Nature feels, smells and touches the same as humans.

I love the way the simplicity and shortness of the lines somehow emphasise the stark "way of the world" sentiment here. There's a sense of mystery about this too, which I enjoyed.
