I am the majesty of despair
A sorrowful being of broken air
To sing a song with meaning’s bless
Would leave me in my brokenness
Reign on, you queen of shameless pride
And judge me as less dignified
This broken heart cries with deep regret
Recalling dreams it should forget
Memories of a shadowed soul
Tortured by his ebb and flow
Overcome by his charming grace
I fell into a fleeting place
He has me bound within his clutch
And I hunger for his sinful touch
His wicked eyes that captivate
Taunting me to anticipate
Beguiling his way through my heart
This shadowed man tore me apart
Oh the song of meaning’s bless
Return me to my to my loneliness
Make the air I breathe no more
Lead me not to the shadowed door
Give me strength to saving grace
No longer to gaze upon his face
Preserve my pride and wistful air
No longer the majesty of despair
A sorrowful being of broken air
To sing a song with meaning’s bless
Would leave me in my brokenness
Reign on, you queen of shameless pride
And judge me as less dignified
This broken heart cries with deep regret
Recalling dreams it should forget
Memories of a shadowed soul
Tortured by his ebb and flow
Overcome by his charming grace
I fell into a fleeting place
He has me bound within his clutch
And I hunger for his sinful touch
His wicked eyes that captivate
Taunting me to anticipate
Beguiling his way through my heart
This shadowed man tore me apart
Oh the song of meaning’s bless
Return me to my to my loneliness
Make the air I breathe no more
Lead me not to the shadowed door
Give me strength to saving grace
No longer to gaze upon his face
Preserve my pride and wistful air
No longer the majesty of despair
