A Real Dawn Breaks

by Prabz

Word Count: 64
Summary: I wrote this poem as a meditation on karma... And the freedom and resolution that comes from going to the source of pain, and relaxing into the moment, with all that it contains - rather than being seduced by the many distractions that take me away from reality.

Unspoiled aspects
Amidst the wreck of broken dreams
Sing softly in quiet moments
Flickering between heartbeats.
Silence points to a time
When wisdom grew
And pastels drift
Between grey gloom
Whispering of life in full colour,
Resting within pain.
When I dare to be still
And burn in these flames of truth
Frontiers collapse
Dams of karma burst open
And a real dawn breaks.
