A Real Dawn Breaks
by Prabz
Posted: 26 December 2012 Word Count: 64 Summary: I wrote this poem as a meditation on karma... And the freedom and resolution that comes from going to the source of pain, and relaxing into the moment, with all that it contains - rather than being seduced by the many distractions that take me away from reality. |

Unspoiled aspects
Amidst the wreck of broken dreams
Sing softly in quiet moments
Flickering between heartbeats.
Silence points to a time
When wisdom grew
And pastels drift
Between grey gloom
Whispering of life in full colour,
Resting within pain.
When I dare to be still
And burn in these flames of truth
Frontiers collapse
Dams of karma burst open
And a real dawn breaks.
Amidst the wreck of broken dreams
Sing softly in quiet moments
Flickering between heartbeats.
Silence points to a time
When wisdom grew
And pastels drift
Between grey gloom
Whispering of life in full colour,
Resting within pain.
When I dare to be still
And burn in these flames of truth
Frontiers collapse
Dams of karma burst open
And a real dawn breaks.
