Spinning across the vast
You appeared,
Rashly leaping across
The chasm
Of character building years.
First and
Never forgotten
First love,
The expanse will never
Diminish the
Gentle memories of
Our innnocent journey
Hand in hand
Into adulthood.
That you are well and happy
Gladdens me.
And upon waking
To yet another
Exquisite day,
That you should have
Chosen to stop,
To not
Walk on by,
Touched me.
You appeared,
Rashly leaping across
The chasm
Of character building years.
First and
Never forgotten
First love,
The expanse will never
Diminish the
Gentle memories of
Our innnocent journey
Hand in hand
Into adulthood.
That you are well and happy
Gladdens me.
And upon waking
To yet another
Exquisite day,
That you should have
Chosen to stop,
To not
Walk on by,
Touched me.
