Well what a year on Writewords
some things I shan't forget
Roger's ragged knickers
still hanging there I bet.

The hottest day we all went mad
the postings were absurd
I really think we lost the plot
two letters short of a word!

It's been such fun though mostly
and boy I've learned a lot
The people that I've come to know
and all those Brighton rocks!


The poets and the novelists
with names we like to see
The comments and the forums
not everyones cup of tea!

But let me wish you all the best
for Christmas and New Year
and hopefully we'll all meet up
in Bath? next time I hear?

Ellie, I'd quite forgotten Roger's knickers and the hottest day - thanks for the reminder. And Bath buns will be a change from Brighton rocks!

Didn't go to Brighton, but have had a great time here on Writewords, a brill poem, rolls along and I can hear you all singing it on the coach to Bath next year......
