|
I go in the garden
all gone to pot.
One grass root,
little sod.
Lilly went to the valley,
Willow weeps.
Plum is a prune
Virginia creeps.
Cox went with pippin
Rose rambles on.
I want a sweetpea
but must carry on.
Granny gone to smiths,
Grampa drinks the wine.
Poor old grape
never saw the sign.
Basil met Rosemary
Dill in a stew.
So i sit on the box
and pick up the broom.
all gone to pot.
One grass root,
little sod.
Lilly went to the valley,
Willow weeps.
Plum is a prune
Virginia creeps.
Cox went with pippin
Rose rambles on.
I want a sweetpea
but must carry on.
Granny gone to smiths,
Grampa drinks the wine.
Poor old grape
never saw the sign.
Basil met Rosemary
Dill in a stew.
So i sit on the box
and pick up the broom.
