I laughed at the first one, Jennifer. Has the second to do with the blinding of the Cyclops?

But very good I enjoyed them.

Very neat work Jennifer! I love them both. The first is quite funny but in a horror way - I'd try sending these each on the appropriate dates Well done that woman!

Think I may be Prospero's opposite as I laughed at the second and had questions about the first... Although, writing this, I think I have just "got" the first one too. Might have understood it more quickly if I had ever been to a posh restaurant serving fish fingers.

Yes, I laughed at the first too. Great stuff.

The second works best if the essay theme somehow links to what Lisa is doing. Does Homer exactly? I thought maybe Newton's Third Law? 'For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'
Summat like that.

Thanks to you all for your kind comments. At least I haven't made myself look a plonker with the effort, and it was an effort.

I read somewhere, yonks ago, that Homer was blind but maybe that's a myth.

The 1st one is an octupus's revenge on fishermen. Good on her I say.

The 2nd one just popped into my head and really has no meaning apart from an act of revenge.
