The laser beams
Of dreams
Now, the muddy
Pools of brown.

Once
Wondrous,
Sparkling
Now, dull,
Disenchanting.

They have bled
Their light.

Superb. Sparse but full of wonderful images. The ending is a classic.

It struck me how eyes impact, how they reveal so much in the reflection of the depth and quality of our emotions.

Thank you for your kind comments.

Hope is always there, however sometimes one's sight of it is obscured.

Thanks again, for your kind words.

One's sight may be obscured at times, but this is why we are given signs; this is why things happen, albeit at inconvenient times.
