I pick up canvas
not sure what to do.
Ultramarine
Cobalt Blue hue.

Palette is ready
sable brushes.
What colour shall i do the rushes.
Burnt umber.

Mix the paints
splash of colour.
Rage and revenge
as no other.

Sky ablaze
touch of red,
Orange, gold,
just as i said.

Change my mind,
from start to finish.
Who cares
i don't,pay the fee.

Dear Al - A very expressive piece; your affinity with form and tone is so beautifully conveyed.

This flows beautifully, then the final discord with:

"Who cares
i don't,pay the fee."

A satisfyingly angry poem.

Al

I like the journey of decision - indecision in this piece, then the final carfree belt - did you throw your brushes up in the air?
