Before Puffin

Summary: In March 2009 I published a book called 'Puffin's Log'. Chris Bonington wrote "What a lovely and very special book. It's one that all generations can enjoy - the older, like myself, with nostalgia and the younger, as an inspiration to go out and adventure. I love the illustrations and the freshness of the narrative - it takes me back to my own childhood and the adventures that I enjoyed." I would like some advice on the next book.

Before Puffin is a new free digital book. The two chapters were written in the 1950s by Jocelyn Greenway, and illustrated by her husband Robert. 'Home Thoughts From The Broads' tells of two sailing trips on The Broads in 1949 and 1950. In 1951 the family moved to Parkstone in Dorset and here they first bought a 14-ft Lymington Pram called Tercia. 'Bivouacing In The Dinghy' tells of their two week adventure sailing in the Solent. By their own admission they had a lot to learn and they had a near catastrophe right at the end of the holiday.

This 'book' will form part of my second book. There are articles from a walking holiday in the Jotunheim in 1939 to a family scooter holiday to the Alps in 1958. I am exploring the possibility of using an agent to get a publisher for this book and a third one about emigrating to Australia in 1959.
