Extreme age showed
etched on his face
an atlas of crevaces
mapping existence that had
moved through eons

He winced against pain
his wizened body stooped
from too many steps
to too many notes

Teetering
as if to fall
he edges along the tightrope path
once secure
a tear glistens
as he reminises
strong
he once walked home from the station

Hi catherine. I almost missed this as it wasn't posted on Flash Poetry. I'm glad I didn't! Great use of the phrases in an excellent poem. I really liked

This is a fantastic response; are you going to do the latest one - Week 39?

I look forward to it.
