The way you looked at me
I thought you
remembered when we were
at your place that day

and you picked
rosemary and thyme
for dinner. The lamb would
have been good without it but

you knew best. Afterwards
we looked up at
the moonbeams streaking
their yellow paths across

the sky and we held
each other tight

Oh, Joanie you old romantic, you!
"To everything
turn, turn, turn.
There is a season
turn, turn, turn
and a time to every purpose
under heaven..."

Bet you didn't you know I had that good a voice ;

Lovely poem.

I like the way this starts and ends.

Yes, pure romanticism! Sent a shiver down my back.
I liked the streaking moonbeams, too.
Lovely poem, Joanie.
