Fumbling
for a future,
I'm stuck
amongst regret,
that stalwart suitor
of memory,
possessing,
taking over me,
stronghold against
possibility.

HOW DO I GET
TO WHERE
I NEED TO BE?

But do you know where you want to be?
Sometimes we only know just after we left there...

Like this, sums up succinctly and vividly a pretty terrifying place to be, few of whom have not been there. For what it's worth, I feel that one never needs to be any place else other than where they are NOW, both in terms of time and place. The journey is it. The destination, irrelevant.

As for the past, well, hold on to the good stuff and jettison the rest, leaving one to truly live with "possibility". Easier said than done, of course.

Good poem Bobo.

The Walrus,
Suffering from an extreme case of pompous verbosity.
