As I peered,
Listlessly
Into the mirror
This morning
I was rudely seized
By a moment
Of frenzied activity
Of twisting and twirling
My long tresses
Into peculiar shapes
The many tufty bits
Of which
I affixed
With little clippy things.

The result
I like to call
‘Medusa, Tribute to Glastonbury’

And, from this
Moment of
Hair twirling fury,
My day improved
Enormously
Largely due to the
The petrified gawping
Of my colleagues.

I didn't see it, yet I anticipate nightmares in my darkest slumber. Bad girl, bad tinker tomboy!

And therein is the lesson... never look into Medusa's face.

Why, has she got spotty cheeks (on her face)?

Glad you liked it Alice... a departure from intensity... into frivolity and appealing, quite naturally to my dizzy bint tendencies...

Fearless, spotty cheeks are a moot point since one would be unable to comment post petrifaction.

So had all the resolve of a wibbling, wobbling jelly? Not Medusa, surely?
