Maybe one day
I'll be...
a princess
with long golden locks,
with suitors on
handsome steeds
queueing for miles
around the block.

Maybe one day
I'll be...
a starlet
with name up in lights,
wowing the crowds
with my drama
and beauty,
Hollywood firm in my sights.

Maybe one day
I'll be...
a dancer
with rhythm and grace,
gliding with such
seamless ease,
serenity etched on my face.

Maybe one day
I'll be...
accepted
for just being
me.

In all her many aspects

To be yourself, to believe in yourself, is divine. To be accepted as such is the cherry on top (not always necessary)

I'm a little way from the divine...but working on it! I used to feel as though I had such potential, but now it's as though that hopeful part of me has died...I'm not yet through trying to resuscitate it though!

Potential is always there - thats why its called potential.
Just that the light sometimes shines elsewhere.
It needs light and nourishment; time and attention.
