You're going grey now mother dear
Where once was black as night
The years don't age you very much
You're still my ray of light

If I could wish my life to be
As happy as yours has been
I'd give my son a legacy:
The one that you gave to me

Quietly moving, very sweet. I think most people can relate to this.

This would be a lovely gift for Mother's Day, or in a card for a special birthday. A very warm sentiment.
