The sky is vast,
empty
from my window.

No leaves
or branches block
my view.

Inspiration
once flowed
whenever

I looked out.

Once again, it's just lovely, Joanie. So much in so little.
Really nice.

I love that first stanza. My neighbour cut a tree down recently - just at nesting (arsehole!) and the sky still feels big out my window...

PS You all watching Springwatch?

Gorgeously simple Joanie..we've had the same thing too..I shouted at our back neighbour a few weeks ago..he was slicing branches of his cherry tree off & there were magpies ( love em or hate em ) nesting in there..
"Oh" he said, & then waited til I was out to finish the job x
