Polly Crockett had a passion
For wearing all the latest fashion
That’s alright until you’re thirty
But after that you look quite flirty
Polly, who would go to dances
Noticed she was getting glances
From fellows of a certain sort
Who seemed to only have one thought
And whose intentions seemed quite shady
They didn’t treat her as a lady
But used to send her smutty texts
Suggesting they meet up for sex
Polly wanted this to end
And so confided in a friend
Who said in an encouraging tone
That Polly should switch off her phone
And realize that now she’s fifty
Though she still looks pretty nifty
To avoid such dancehall sharks
Polly bought her clothes from Marks

I don't know how you do this sort of thing son consistently wittily and well-craftedly, indeed craftily........Great fun and wonderfully well executed.

Best,

Mike

Well rhymed! Either you rhyme with ease, or you have the gift of making it look easy. Which is it?

This strikes a chord with me, but sadly

In old age with the Pollys I've no more success;
I've sailed into Blue Harbour at old M&S.

James.
