Polluting lucidity
With egocentric chatter,
Dulling our senses,
With our worn out patter,
Hiding behind the mask
Of the pitiful sycophant,
Clouding the truth
With our churlish cant,
Barricaded behind
Our self-nurtured
Insecurities.

Deliberately refusing to see
That we are elaborately
Constructing the barbaric barriers
To a beautiful reality.

Why?

Yes. I, like the next man, and so many others, am guilty of this.
BTW, should it be 'deliberately' instead of 'deliberating' in the second stanza?
