I love to sit in my favourite spot
Doesn’t matter if it’s cold or hot
Enjoying the delights of the garden flowers
I contemplate for hours and hours
I love to sit in my favourite place
Watching shooting stars fall through space
Sharing a moment in time with you
As we gaze at stars in skies of midnight blue
I love to sit and dream and ponder
To watch the world with eyes of wonder
To think of family and friends
Wishes, dreams and fashion trends
I love to sit in the garden arbour
Viewing the results of my hard labour
Thinking of times we have shared
A cuppa and hugs to show we cared
I love to think that when I’m old and grey
I will remember these special days
When friends took time to share the hours
On this favourite bench amongst the flowers.
