On much water
We have flowed.
And more often still,
Little has been spilt.
The banks that are our strength,
Have not often burst
Why is it when we go down,
In so little water we can drown?
We’ve swum
Way to the mouth.
Life offers us
Expanses in which to live.
There is no ocean between us,
Only coral reef to warn us.
We can swim wherever you want
The waters are always getting warmer.
We have flowed.
And more often still,
Little has been spilt.
The banks that are our strength,
Have not often burst
Why is it when we go down,
In so little water we can drown?
We’ve swum
Way to the mouth.
Life offers us
Expanses in which to live.
There is no ocean between us,
Only coral reef to warn us.
We can swim wherever you want
The waters are always getting warmer.
