night after night they came
like rain,they soaked our lives
with tears,no shame
we could not bear
the blame,our life
our love,a name
a place to share
our pain,depair
no sense nor aim
a hate so rare
wild beast to tame
the fight,no gain
our lives stripped bare
but all in vain,we can but care
yet-was it just a game?

a place to share
our pain,depair

yet-was it just a game?
