Leo

When I was lost
he loved me
In my pain
he loved me
His gentle spirit
comforted me
Deep and knowing eyes
saw all I am
and loved me
Wordlessly but knowingly
he loved me
And in his final pain
I know he knew
I loved him too.

Hi Zettel. What can I say? I'm sure this was really well received. I think it takes poetry to be able to express these sentiments accurately.

Hi Zettel

I have moggies with deep and knowing eyes too and would be devastated if I had to put them down. This is a lovely piece of writing - thanks for posting
