Early June
and the whole summer
is stretching out
in front of me.
The grass has yet
to be harvested
and flops under
the rain. Untidy
plants run riot
in my garden yet
I want to quell
them all. Spring
is a memory
and the whole summer
is stretching out
in front of me.
The grass has yet
to be harvested
and flops under
the rain. Untidy
plants run riot
in my garden yet
I want to quell
them all. Spring
is a memory
