Very succinct and very true. I am up to my neck in broken glass.

Its much more refined than "Breaking wind and having to own up!"

This really got to me!! Loved it, and so true. It brought back happy(?!) memories of when I was young and got so angry when playing on the farm at home that I threw a rather large rock at my wretched brother, who ducked just at the wrong(?) moment - so that the missile whistled past his right ear, smashed through the window of my father's office and landed right on his desk.

Boy, that was one hell of a telling off - but passed into family legend within seconds!!
