What a delicious Haiku! The images appear charming, endearing but despite the light touch I can't help being drawn into the poem, its intriguing! I want to know who and where and when - and its creating a picture in my head of a smiling woman in a long white nightgown, carrying a candle !! Those warm pages have a tale to tell. I think this Haiku is clever, fun and fab!

Hi Lisa,
I've lived in NZ so long now that I've almost forgotten how cold the walk from bathroom to bedroom was in an English winter. This poem brings it all back. I well remember how much my own children used to love bedtime stories and how the roster for reading stories had to be strictly observed!
Well done, lovely work.
