EMOTIONAL STORMS
The intensity of a storm brews in your eyes, not a storm of disaster but one of passion. Your words pour from your mouth like droplets of rain, dashing my skin and penetrating my soul. Your hands wistfully roam my barren land, like the raging wind, leaving no stone unturned. I kiss your lips and reach the centre of your storm. I am engulfed in you and cannot be released. Sparks of lightning from your touch illuminate my being, my heart. I am paralysed by the strength of your storm. I allow you to sweep me away and carry me through the skies to your heart. You cease to be a raging, passionate storm as I ascend to the uttermost part of your inner-man. You hide me there and all becomes calm, subdued, yet rain still falls, caresses me, leaving behind silent trails of tenderness over hidden places that had been left untouched. In your rain I blossom. All that was encased inside my womanly shell emerges to the surface and makes itself known to you. The storm is dormant now. The rain has ceased to fall but drought does not follow. What follows is acceptance of all I have revealed. Your sun appears majestically within your skies and warms the four corners of my feminine earth - my mind, my body, my soul, my heart. You ignite and consume the disappointments of the past. You replace them with rays of compassion, hope and a future of eternal brightness. In areas of darkness you shine with a strength that leaves shadows with no place to hide. In your warmth I am satisfied, complete. You do not burn me, even with your overpowering radiance. Unlike our bright star, I can look at you. I know your core, the depth of your essence. I do not turn away in fear or pain. Instead I look at you with unrelenting, uninhibited, steadfast love. My earth welcomes your sun and combined we are united, we are one and the same. We are the melody of an emotional storm with peaks and troughs but through all things we burn with passion, each for the other.
