Perfect Housewife

Posted: 10 December 2006 Word Count: 80 Summary: Inspired by the lovely Anthea |
|
I must fold my towels like Anthea,
One two and over:
One, two, three and in.
Nice and white and fluffy.
Hiding the holes.
I must whisk zabaglione like Nigella.
Three four and bubble:
Five, six, seven;
Hubble and trouble.
Not at the inn.
I can only sing like Sylvia.
Eight, nine, and ten:
A million times over,
Screaming and wailing,
Waiting for the holes.
Eye of newt and
leg of toad.
Stick the pins in and
Hide the holes.
