Prozac Picnic

If you go down to the woods today
Be certain you take your pill
If you go down to the woods today
You're sure to be very ill
For every bear that ever felt blue
Is meeting there
Psychiatrists too
Todays the day the teddybears have their
Prozac.

Prozac time for teddy bears
They stand around depressed
And wondering what to do today
Watch them rocking helplessly
And snapping at each other as they play
Growing quiet and feeling stressed
Until the medicine takes effect and they fall asleep
At six o'clock their mummies and daddies
Will beat them to a pulp
Because they're weird little teddy bears

Excellent.... reminded me of my Mother-In-Law (though that's not so good).

I'm sure you've spotted the typo on line 7, should be a 'y' not a 't', but I'm pedantic.

Prefered the first verse to the second, because I couldn't remember the original tune well enough for the second part!

Thanks Bilangley. Well spotted! Its not at all pedantic, I should have noticed. I got close to a Y though didn't I. Not bad for a blind man!
Now you feel guilty don't you!! No!?
The second verse scans what I remember of the tune but it does deteriorate from poor taste to psuedo (very silly) violence.Whimsy of the worst kind if you ask me.
