Hmm - had to think about this one because I wasn't sure whether or not it really is about toes, or if it's something much, much deeper. It conjured up an image of a child pressing his feet into the damp sand and looking to see the imprint afterwards. I love poems that make you think - and this one certainly does that!
Best wishes,
Beanie.

Hi Stephen. Yes, this made me think too. I laughed aloud at first but I'm not sure why! I get the impression that this is much more to do with 'finding your feet' than just toes.

Very thought-provoking!

As others have said, it's one that's apparently simple but makes you think - great stuff! But isn't it "in between"???

Hmmm, highly enigmatic. I imagined standing in a stream with water flowing between my toes. What were you really driving at here?
