Sitting in my chair as the sun bleeds in
Full of stories of long distant sunsets
The door bursts open and your
Excited questions fill the room
The aisles are full of my adventurous clothing
Brought back from my waking dreams
Ready for you to wear as your armour
And to shape as your own as you travel your world
To find out for your self which of these clothes fit you
And how you will change your world
Open your eyes, pull on your dreams as armour,
Stock up on hope, grow your beliefs as shields,
Make these clothes your own
Chase new rainbows and a distant sunset.
There is an indescribable colour beyond the horizon.
Hidden, somewhere in your future,
Your travels, your dreams.
Go now my child, and discover
Your own world, for yourself
And when you return,
Bring back your stories as
Wonderful brightly coloured clothes,
To live in new memories, and
To lend to new travellers, to be borrowed,
From a quiet shop on a road less travelled.
