Into the body it reaches deep
Mocking vain hope of sleep.
Upon the soul it draws
All sense of reason falls.
Upon susceptibility it plays
Daring me into wanton ways.
Its racing beat excites
Leaving me with tingling bites.
The mind's chattering it soothes
The seat of reason it moves.
Unbridled dancing it inspires
Stoking the unquenchable fires.
It connects to the core
Leaves me begging for more.

Music of the world
The inhabitance
Of your domain
Renders me slain.

From my slumber, your poem draws me into a club of easy samba.
Hips sway, booty swinging
Samba drummers are rum a'swigging
Colours merge
Movement blurs
Now we are all singin'

Great stuff......more, with instruments and sounds please!

Great stuff Walrus...I was feeling a tad sleepy this morning but this has woken me up. Great rhythm that had me dancing in my seat ( I kid ye not! ).

Thanks. Music has saved my soul on more than one post-relationship trauma (that and a bottle of ruby red of course.)

As you say this goes so well with the bottle of Ruby red you uploaded earlier in the week, in the poem Feerless Feet , they work really well together. Another great poem.. thanks
