Summary: I have no idea if this works, but was a fun thought :) (each 11th syllable seems to add a break I can't seem to resolve or balance)

I knew this would happen didn’t I son?

Did I allow you to go out to play?

When did I ask you to answer me back?

You know what rhetorical means my boy?

This really made me laugh aloud! I find myself saying very often, 'It was a rhetorical question!'

I love the rigour of 11 syllables, then the no/so; this is just my sort of thing.

I enjoyed it.

Hi Robert,

Funny, and clever too. It's fun to imagine what did happen. I wasn't quite sure who was saying 'So' in each instance - both would work well with question marks, leaving no doubt that it's the boy who's speaking them (I can almost hear him in my head, see the expression on his face - Harry Enfield's Kevin to a T!!)

A great response to the exercise.

This is good and simple. I love the so/no grunts!

Ah, the joys of teenagers. The rhetorical line made me laugh.
