The fast track to confusion
Equal measures of fear and expectation
The lethal festering fusion.
The bully boy brain
Its ceaseless claim
Its devious distraction
Demands the tangibility of proof
Throttles the quiet gentleness of truth
Pollutes the calm waters of purity
Smothers the heart’s natural surety.
It severs the silver spirit’s thread
It punches the wind out of soul’s laughter.
Run.
Fly.
Leap.
Plummet into the trusting deep.
Awaken from the mind’s drugged sleep.
