Into the Abyss

The Darkness seems to pull me
like a serpent swept along with the tide
into the gentle arms of solitude.
I think, I feel, but I cannot see,
so all I can do is accept this invitation
and allow myself to be carried.
I Imagine creatures touching me as they pass me by,
but they fail to leave so much as an impression.
I glide through this endless journey,
happy that when I feel your touch
the darkness will become a vision.
like a serpent swept along with the tide
into the gentle arms of solitude.
