eanna, you're dead right - ideas often aren't easy! It's a struggle to find inspiration sometimes (well, often, probably).

Isn't it funny how we get a spate of writer's block sometimes which onlyends when we write a poem like this! Very profound little piece.

Very true - and well expressed! I'd be tempted to put a semi-colon at the end of the second line though - just to add to the punch factor ...?

This is a very effective piece packing so much meaning into so few words.

You have conveyed the elusiveness of ideas and the difficulty of capturing them, perfectly.

I tend to agree with HollyB that a semi colon would make for increased impact on the reader.
