The Little Star

you shine so brightly
you squint in mirrors,

even kindness is a sniper
even love comes to kill,

you shine so brightly
your shadow is solid,

even the frost turns to soot
even the snowdrops burn,

you shine so brightly
you stumble into me,

even I see only the light
even I search for shade,

from your laser looks
from your tiger eyes,

even my skin fades
even my touch.
