The Vestige

i misplaced the days
she sectioned the frontal lobe
somewhere the memory

of summer with theresa
oozed from the watery incision
the minds fruit divided up

between first year students
the architecture of thought
softly ruined by their touch

i misplaced the days
she finds the archaeology
of our love in a Petri dish.

I like your poem very much, but "missed placed" jarred me somewhat. Should it be 'misplaced' instead?

I hope I'm not totally missing the point here, I felt that the rest of the poem was so lovely.
