In love with an aardvark.

The way he looks makes my heart spark.

Lets not waste time with small talk.

We can create a new species and build an ark.

Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed. This tickled me a lot, even though I wrote it!

It's time the aardvark held a place in poetry equal to his place in the dictionary. Now there are two aardvark poems on WW - the other is my 'Homo dissimilis contemplates the natural world', though even there the aardvark has only a bit part. But here he's centre stage in a neat, witty rhyme.

James.
