Together, we embark upon a journey of discovery, you and I, a vehicle for my desire.
Over the sea and through a cloudless sky, through the brightest day, and star-filled heavens, effortlessly we fly.
We pass through unimagined beauty, to discover a land of dreams.
Of secret mysteries, knights and ladies in crinoline, wizards, witches, serpents and dragons; a distant past where we may roam at will, or a future where every wish is granted, and every hope fulfilled.
We drift together on a voyage upon a tranquil ocean, where I meet my queen and together we lie.

Andrew- this feels much cleaner to me now. And the sense of the bed being the central second character is really nice, using it as a vehicle to the fantasy land works very well. Excellent! I still think even one tiny part of these dreams could be a story each- which is part of the point of the exercise of course.

yes Anna
it puts the phrase 'bed time stories' in a new light.
I was tempted to tell one, but resisted, preferring to leave it between the lines, or perhaps what one might term 'under the counter slip'? (::::: groans at bad pun)

From the folds in the sheets we fly over the sea and through a cloudless sky, to a land of dreams, a distant past where we may roam at will, or a future where every wish is granted, and every hope fulfilled.
We drift together on our voyage upon a tranquil ocean, to an island where I will meet my queen and together we lie, waiting for daylight. And what would my wish be? That when I wake, to find you lying there, still.
